Working directly for a specialist subcontractor, you will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating trades, maintaining programme targets, and ensuring works are delivered safely and to a high standard. Project Scope The refurbishment works include: Soft strip and enabling works Refurbishment of the main banking hall Toilet refurbishment works Refurbishment of back office areas Coordination of subcontractors and specialist trades Managing health & safety and site compliance throughout the project Key Responsibilities Day-to-day management of the site and workforce Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring programme milestones are achieved Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings Monitoring health & safety performance and ensuring compliance with all site procedures Managing quality control and snagging processes Liaising with the client, project team and other stakeholders Maintaining site records, permits and reporting requirements Ensuring works are completed on time, safely and to specification Essential Requirements To be considered, applicants must hold all relevant Site Management certifications , including: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) CSCS Black Managers Card First Aid at Work Certificate Proven experience managing refurbishment projects Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site management procedures Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to commit to the full 7-week programme, including most weekends

Freelance Site Manager Distribution Centre - 7 week small fit out / M&E upgrades Location: Methley LS26 Start Date: ASAP Project: 7 weeks remaining (additional works possibly added) Hours: split shifts - 5.30am to 3.30pm / 7.30am 5.30pm Job Profile We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join our client who are main contractor that turnover circa £150m. They have been allocated a national roll out in the region of £50m s worth of Small / Medium Distribution centre refurbishments for their client, a world leading brand. The scope of works vary across all schemes and are from £2m to £8m a piece. This particular project is in Methley and has 7 week remaining on site, It is a £2.2m scheme where there are internal infrastructure works, M&E upgrades, Fire doors, painting / Decorating. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to deliver the project on time and to a high standard as well as being computer literate Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations across the 7 -week programme. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure smooth delivery. Monitor progress against programme milestones and report regularly to the project team. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies. Oversee quality control and resolve any issues that arise during construction and fit-out. Required Proven track record as a Site Manager on refurbishment and fit-out projects. Experience in managing distribution centres, warehouses, or similar industrial facilities would be ideal but essential. Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety, and compliance standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and drive the project to completion. Freelance/contract availability for the full 7 - week duration. Working on behalf of a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate several painting teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day site management of painting and decorating works. Managing multiple subcontractor painting teams. Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and site procedures. Monitoring programme and productivity to ensure project milestones are achieved. Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings. Maintaining quality control and reporting progress to the Project Manager. Coordinating with the client, contractors and other trades on site. Completing site records, RAMS reviews and permit processes where required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Proven experience as a Building Services Manager, MEP Manager or in a similar role with a main contractor. Strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge. Excellent design management experience, particularly from RIBA Stage 2 through technical design and construction. A strong understanding of pre-construction, tendering, procurement and design development. Demonstrable experience managing testing, commissioning and project handover. Experience delivering retail, commercial, hospitality or high-quality fit-out projects. The ability to review technical drawings, specifications, programmes and subcontractor proposals. Strong knowledge of buildability, coordination, value engineering and technical compliance. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Labourer Required on Nights - Garden Centre Refurbishment Location: Woodbridge, IP13 Duration: 11 Weeks Start Date: 8th September We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team on the refurbishment of a garden centre in Woodbridge (IP13) to work on the night shift.
