My client is a well-established, Suffolk-based specialist in bespoke joinery and high-end interior fit-out solutions , operating across a variety of sectors including commercial offices, luxury residential, education, and healthcare. Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, they offer a full design-to-installation service for prestigious projects throughout London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Role Overview: The successful candidate will take ownership of the commercial management of bespoke joinery and interior fit-out packages, ensuring cost control, financial reporting, and profitability across a diverse and high-spec project portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost plans s for joinery and fit-out packages Manage all financial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction to final account Procure sub-contractors and suppliers, prepare tender documentation, and negotiate agreements Monitor project variations and submit valuations and applications for payment Produce regular cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections Liaise with in-house design, production, and installation teams to ensure commercial alignment Represent the company in client and site meetings, providing commercial support and insight Ensure all work complies with contractual obligations, including JCT and bespoke contracts Identify value engineering opportunities and assist in improving commercial processes Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (HNC/HND considered with relevant experience) Minimum 2 years experience within the fit-out, joinery, or interiors sector Proven track record managing bespoke joinery and/or high-end interior packages Strong understanding of JCT contracts and procurement best practices Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and reporting skills Proficient in Microsoft Office -Excel /Word Full UK driving licence What My Client Offers: Competitive salary and package Opportunity to work on prestigious and high-spec projects Supportive working environment with career development prospects A respected and secure business with strong values and craftsmanship at its core

Our client, a growing drylining contractor with a stong order book ,and is looking to add an experienced Drylining Quantity Surveyor to their team. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong candidate with proven experience in drylining, ceilings, and related fit-out works. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for drylining and ceiling projects. Measure, price, and value variations on-site accurately. Produce detailed cost reports and monitor project budgets. Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors, and the project team to resolve commercial issues. Assist in contract administration, including valuations, interim applications, and final account settlements. Support project delivery through proactive risk and cost management. Requirements: Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within drylining and ceilings, preferably from a Trade Drylining Contractor, main contractor or fit-out company Strong knowledge of construction measurement, pricing, and commercial procedures. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying preferred (not essential if strong experience). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry-standard software.
