Site Supervisor Location: Plymouth (on-site) Salary: 40,000 per annum Employment Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week _ About the Role Our client, a well-established engineering business in Plymouth, is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage and coordinate site activities. This role involves leading site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, while adhering to Health & Safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to maintain high-quality project delivery. _ The Role Plan, supervise and coordinate site activities involving company personnel, subcontractors and suppliers. Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Ensure all personnel work in accordance with Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements. Liaise with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors, escalating issues where required. Maintain project documentation, site equipment, vehicles, and working areas to company standards. _ Essential Requirements Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman or similar construction/engineering leadership role. Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices. Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. _ Benefits Permanent, full-time position with a long-established and growing engineering business. Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. _ Desirable Qualifications and Skills Experience within fabrication, structural steelwork, engineering or industrial projects. Relevant site-based qualifications such as SSSTS, SMSTS or CSCS.
