Our client, an architectural metalwork specialist contractor, is seeking an experienced Advance Steel Designer / Detailer to join our busy fabrication and engineering team. Operating fully from the main office, you will work closely alongside our project managers and workshop teams to produce high-quality 3D models and precise manufacturing drawings for general and architectural metalwork Key Responsibilities Produce detailed drawings for Approval for general and architectural metalwork. Produce detailed fabrication and erection drawings for general and architectural metalwork. Create 3D models and 2D CAD drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel. Generate accurate General Arrangement drawings, assembly details, and material schedules. Collaborate in-person with project managers, structural engineers, and workshop fabrication teams. Interpret engineering calculations and project specifications to deliver design intent on time. Requirements Essential: Minimum 2+ years of continuous draughting and detailing experience using Advance Steel. Solid understanding of architectural / general metalwork and fabrication processes. Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve drawing queries on-site and in the workshop. High attention to detail and ability to work to strict project deadlines.
