About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our team, supporting both maintenance and project-based works across a range of commercial sites throughout East Anglia and surrounding areas. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining planned and reactive maintenance with involvement in electrical installations, upgrades, and small-to-medium-sized projects. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works Diagnose faults and complete repairs across commercial electrical systems Deliver and assist with electrical installations for projects (refurbishments, upgrades, fit-outs) Ensure all works comply with current regulations (BS 7671 Wiring Regulations) Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning where required Maintain accurate records and job reports Liaise with clients, contractors, and site managers in a professional manner Follow all health & safety procedures at all times Requirements 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Proven experience in both maintenance and project environments Strong fault-finding and installation skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and organisational skills Desirable (but not essential) Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) Experience in commercial refurbishments and fit-outs IPAF / PASMA certification Experience working in live commercial environments What We Offer Competitive hourly rate with overtime opportunities Company van and fuel card Uniform, and PPE provided Pension scheme Ongoing training and career development Opportunity to work across both maintenance and project-based contracts 20 days holiday + bank holidays How to Apply If you are an experienced Commercial Electrician looking for a varied role across maintenance and projects, we would like to hear from you.
