Job Title: Case Maintenance Team Leader - Nightshift Location: Middlesbrough / Darlington / Hartlepool Contract Type: Permanent / Nightshift Salary: 30,580.88 per annum Working Pattern: 45 hours/4 days Monday & Thursday 12 hours Tuesday & Wednesday 11.5 hours Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to carry out planned refrigeration case maintenance programme across defined regions in line with agreed SLA. To create remedial reports for each PPM and notify the Ops Lead of tasks for action To deliver training to the case maintenance technician. To communicate regularly with Store Management team within the store providing updates on activity and ensure sign off of completed works To work with company and the client to ensure that laid-down standards of quality are always maintained. To comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the company. To work in a manner to support the achievement of company KPIs To ensure all systems are working to optimum energy efficiency. When require support other engineering disciplines to provide flexibility to service delivery To ensure the maintenance of equipment, tools & vehicle to ensure it is fit for purpose. To attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep up with technical and business developments. Job Title: Parts Ordering Team Leader Location: Glasgow Head Office Contract: Permanent Working Pattern : 37.5 hours per week 5 days over 7 Salary: 30,141.72 per annum + great company benefits. Job Purpose: The Parts Ordering Team Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of Parts Ordering Team, ensuring the right parts are ordered, tracked and delivered at the right time. The role will manage a small team, oversee supplier relationships, monitor inventory levels, coordinate the end-to-end ordering process and drive continuous improvement across stock control and parts management activities. Through effective planning, communication and performance management, the role will ensure downtime is minimised, service levels are achieved and costs are controlled Key Accountabilities: Lead, coach and develop the Parts Ordering Team , setting daily priorities and workloads. Manage the end-to-end ordering process including raising purchase orders, chasing deliveries and resolving discrepancies. Ensure the efficient recovery, categorisation, storage and dispatch of parts and equipment. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure effective service delivery and supply continuity. Support supplier negotiations regarding lead times, pricing and performance improvements. Monitor stock levels and reorder points to avoid shortages and excessive stock holdings. Track team KPIs including order accuracy, turnaround times and backorders, providing regular management reporting. Maintain accurate records across stock management systems, ERP platforms and internal databases. Work closely with technicians, suppliers and internal departments to provide updates on order status, stock availability and delivery schedules. Ensure returned parts are appropriately reviewed and categorised for reuse, repair, replacement or recycling. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy and customer service levels. Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements. Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities: Essential Proven experience in parts managment ordering, procurement or stock control. Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience. Confident using CAFM system and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills Experience building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Competent in Microsoft Office applications Desirable Experience of supplier management and performance monitoring. Experience of KPI reporting and operational analysis. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units. Additionally, you will undertake regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites. Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's. Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual& s technical competence in accordance with current specifications. Order spares to the laid-down procedures. Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the HVAC supervisor of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement. Qualifications / Experience: Essential SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical / HVAC or Equivalent Qualification. ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum. Desirable but not essential ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications CCN, CENWAT, CPA as a minimum. City and Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1. City and Guilds th Edition. The ideal candidate: Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks. Full driving license. Experience using a PDA system. Have the ability to work at heights, work in confined spaces. Carried out PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment.
