Working closely with Project Managers, design teams, site teams and suppliers, you will take ownership of material purchasing from initial enquiry through to final delivery. This is a fast-paced role where strong buying decisions will have a direct impact on project cost, quality and programme. The Role You will be responsible for: Procuring materials, products, plant and equipment across multiple projects Obtaining, analysing and comparing supplier quotations Negotiating prices, lead times and commercial terms Managing both long-lead orders and urgent site requirements Tracking orders and resolving late or failed deliveries Identifying supply-chain risks and proposing alternatives Building strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers Monitoring price movements and maintaining accurate purchasing records Resolving purchase-order, delivery and invoice discrepancies Reading drawings, specifications and material schedules Completing material take-offs where required Supporting project teams with procurement planning and product options About You You will be commercially aware, organised and confident managing your own workload across several live projects.
