ESTIMATOR - BOUTIQUE MAIN CONTRACTOR FOCUSES ON HIGH END RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROJECTS - EAST ANGLIA Job Description We are working with a well-established and highly regarded construction business delivering premium commercial and high-end residential projects. With a strong reputation for quality, attention to detail, and client satisfaction, they partner with leading developers, architects, and contractors on bespoke and complex schemes. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team The Role As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of high-specification projects. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all tenders are commercially viable and aligned with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial and high-end residential projects Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations Conduct take-offs and cost planning using estimating software Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors throughout the tender process Support bid presentations and contribute to winning new business Maintain accurate records of tenders, pricing, and project data The Location You will be based from the smart and newly refurbished offices in Over, Cambridgeshire The Candidate Proven experience as an Estimator within construction (commercial and/or high-end residential preferred) Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing Experience working on high-spec or bespoke projects Excellent numerical and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Benefits Pension Scheme, Private healthcare, mobile, laptop holidays plus bank holidays.
