This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified welding inspection professional to join a well-established engineering contractor, with the potential for further long-term work on projects across Hampshire and Sussex following the successful completion of the initial shutdown. Manage non-conformances and implement corrective and preventative actions. Conduct internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain welding consumable control and ensure traceability requirements are met. Ensure compliance with ISO 3834 Welding Management Systems and project quality procedures. Produce progress reports and inspection summaries for project management teams. Promote quality, safety and environmental standards across the project. Requirements Essential CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection Certification (Minimum). Minimum 5 years' experience within a welding, fabrication or inspection-related role. Strong understanding of welding processes, welding procedures and inspection requirements. Experience working within industrial, petrochemical, power generation or heavy engineering environments. Ability to review welding documentation, NDT reports and quality records. Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems and inspection processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Desirable Previous shutdown or turnaround experience. Experience working within ISO 3834 quality systems. Internal auditing experience. Knowledge of fabrication and site construction activities. Working Environment This role will be site-based within a major industrial shutdown environment.
