Low Voltage Appointed Person (LV AP) Electrical Testing Commercial Project Paddington We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Appointed Person who can also perform Electrical Testing for a major commercial project in Paddington , starting end of January . The initial assignment will run for 6 months , with the opportunity for long-term work on future commercial projects across London as our business continues to grow. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts would be advantageous, but not essential. Role & Responsibilities Act as an LV Authorised Person on-site. Prepare, issue, and cancel safety documentation. Develop and implement switching schedules. Complete any required training to maintain LV AP status. Ensure compliance with JV Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operational standards. Conduct and record weekly safety tours of works. Supervise electrical works where necessary. Perform or oversee testing of LV systems under both dead and live conditions. Inspect LV installations Plan and execute inspection and testing Document all live test results and complete NICEIC paperwork for QS approval. Essential Requirements LV Appointed Person certification. Previous experience as an Authorised Person. Strong background in electrical installation. Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete Electrical Installation Certificates accurately, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Rate: £350 £400 per day (DOE) Interested?
