You will: Work with plastic piping Have experience of the industry and be able to undertake 1st and 2nd fix Undertake pressure and water testing Install of all bathroom / kitchen appliances / equipment Must be able to safely use tools The role: Starting rate of 14.44 per hour. Orchard Professional Solutions LTD are working with a market leading sofa manufacturer who are looking for Stores Supervisor to join their team. The Company Our Client are a market leading sofa manufacturer, with a turnover of close to 70m and home to around 5 brands. They offer a range of contemporary and classic styles to reflect the individual needs and lifestyles of their customers, feeding in to over 600 retail outlets across the UK. They are proud of their British design and craftsmanship, with every piece of furniture they offer, handmade in the UK. The group excels in combining the best of furniture making method with cutting-edge techniques. The Role As a stores supervisor, you will support in daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service excellence. Ensuring that stores department runs efficiently, sales targets are mets and customers receive a positive experience. Your duties will be but not limited to: Supervise and motivate store staff during assigned shifts Assist with opening and closing procedures Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated customer issues Monitor sales performance and help achieve store targets Train, coach, and support new and existing employees Maintain store standards for cleanliness, visual merchandising, and safety Manage inventory, stock levels, and loss prevention procedures Report daily drop offs Prepare basic reports and communicate updates to management Enforce company policies and procedures consistently Assist with picking of materials, ensuring accuracy Build and organise material cages for the production floor Valued Qualities Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and to motivate others Team plays who supports others and works collaboratively Takes pride in maintaining high standard of cleanliness and organisation Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Qualifications and Skills Previous furniture / upholstery experience Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Possess a customer focused mindset with problem solving abilities Basic maths, English and computer skills Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift and move merchandise as required Ideally have experience in a supervisory role Experience with MRP / ERP Systems - preferred Proven ability to lead and motivate a team Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd are an equal opportunity employer. About the role Orchard Professional Solutions LTD are looking for reliable and quality-focused Frame Assemblers to join an established team at a market leading manufacturer. In this hands-on role, you will assemble products to agreed design specifications and quality standards, helping deliver great quality, uniquely comfortable sofas. Key responsibilities Assemble frames to methods set by Design and Development Work to documented company quality standards and training requirements Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE such as FFP3 masks, eye and ear protection and safety footwear Maintain good housekeeping standards, keeping work areas and workstations tidy, safe and in full working order Keep tools and equipment tidy, safe and ready for use Handle products correctly to prevent damage to the product and to work safely. Ensure training records are kept up to date. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required. Required Experience and Skills Ideally hold experience in Furniture manufacturing Will have experience in assembly, manufacturing, woodwork Experience of working in similar environments Can effectively follow drawings and specifications A positive attitude and willingness to follow training and documented procedures. Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work at pace while maintaining safe working practices. About you Take pride in producing high-quality work. Practical, hands-on and comfortable working in a manufacturing or workshop environment. Can effectively follow set processes, specifications and quality standards. Can work safely and understand the importance of using PPE correctly. Are organised, reliable and willing to learn.
