Multi-Skilled Engineer London 40,000- 48,000 + profit share Permanent Company Van We're recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to cover commercial properties across London. The role will involve a mixture of plumbing, electrical and general building/fabric maintenance , so we're looking for someone with solid experience in at least two of these areas . The Role You'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of automatic and pedestrian door systems across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, retail, and public sector sites. Key Responsibilities Install, service, maintain and repair automatic and pedestrian door systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently. Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant. Complete all job documentation accurately using company systems. Deliver a high standard of customer service while representing the business professionally. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations. About You Minimum 2 years' experience working with automatic door systems (installation and/or maintenance). Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation. Full UK driving licence. Able to work independently and manage your own workload. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Desirable: Electrical qualifications. Experience with access control systems. CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain one). What's on Offer 38,000 - 45,000 basic salary depending on experience. This is a mobile role where you'll be responsible for maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installations across a range of plumbing and heating systems. You'll be trusted to manage your own workload, diagnose issues efficiently and provide a high standard of service to customers. The role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work and is confident working on both larger commercial systems and more traditional plumbing installations.
