Civil Engineering Estimator Derbyshire Permanent 50,000 + company car We are working with an established and growing business to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in civil engineering who enjoys the commercial side of projects and is looking for a role with plenty of responsibility and variety. Working as part of the wider commercial team, you'll be involved in assessing new opportunities, developing costs and putting together competitive submissions. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing new opportunities and assessing project requirements Producing estimates and pricing information for a range of projects Reviewing drawings, specifications and other relevant documentation Developing accurate and commercially viable tender submissions Liaising with colleagues and external contacts throughout the estimating process Supporting site visits and gathering information to assist with pricing Preparing cost information and supporting documentation Contributing to meetings and discussions around upcoming projects Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales Developing positive working relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders About you We're looking for someone who can bring previous estimating experience within a civil engineering or construction environment. You'll ideally have: Previous experience in an Estimator or similar commercial role A good understanding of construction and project costs Experience working with tenders, pricing and estimates Strong numerical and analytical ability Excellent attention to detail The confidence to communicate with a variety of stakeholders A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be beneficial

Contracts Coordinator/Team Leader Nottingham 31,000 - 40,000 We are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially aware Contracts & Aftersales Coordinator or Team Leader to join a growing project-based business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in project coordination, contract management, customer service or aftersales who is looking to take the next step in their career. No two days will be the same, and these roles would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and working collaboratively with people across a business. Description of the role: Manage projects from order through to completion and handover. Coordinate customers, subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries. Manage project programmes, costs, risks and variations Maintain regular communication with clients. Coordinate snagging, completion and aftersales requirements. Resolve customer issues and support warranty enquiries. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Work closely with Sales, Design and Finance. Team Leader: provide guidance, mentoring and workload support to the team. About you: You'll ideally have experience in project or contract management, coordination or a similar project-based environment. Highly organised and commercially aware. Confident communicating with customers and suppliers. Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities. Practical and solutions focused. Confident taking ownership and resolving problems. For the Team Leader role, experienced in supporting, supervising or mentoring colleagues.
