Site Manager (Marine Civil Engineering / Water) Location: South Coast (Projects from Chichester to Weymouth) Office Base: Eastleigh, Hampshire (Wessex House, SO50 9FD) Salary: £55,000 £65,000 DOE + Car/Allowance + Bonus + Benefits The Company We re looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established, growing civil engineering business with a strong presence across the South Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure works in a company that values long-term development, open communication, and team culture. As a Site manager you ll oversee major projects across marine and coastal environments, from planning through to completion. Based primarily in Eastleigh, you ll work closely with project and operational teams across sites located between Chichester and Weymouth The Role Key Responsibilities Lead all on-site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. Implement and enforce HSE standards, conduct inductions, and ensure RAMS compliance. Supervise and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining clear communication. Track construction progress, resolve site issues, and provide updates to the Project/Contracts Manager. Maintain accurate site diaries, safety records, and material/resource logs. Ensure project delivery aligns with quality standards, client requirements, and budget. Candidate Requirements 5 10+ years experience in marine civil engineering or water infrastructure delivery. Strong background in civil marine works (piling, piers, waterfront infrastructure). Water treatment experience with marine elements also considered. Ideally began career as an Engineer. Experience in leading site-based teams of operatives. Training Full driving licence CSCS card Manager/Academically Qualified Site Safety Plus - SMSTS certificate Temporary Works Coordinator First Aid at Work Fire Warden CPCS Appointed Person (desirable) Qualifications HND/C or BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or NVQ L5/6 in Construction Site Management Package & Benefits Salary: £55,000 £65,000 DOE Company Car / Car Allowance or EV Salary Sacrifice Scheme 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Annual Performance-Based Bonus Scheme Professional development and chartership support Working Pattern Split between Eastleigh office and site-based (predominantly site-based) Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM If your interested in the position, please do not hesitate to apply.
