Technical Manager Our client are a fast growing developer who are now seeking a Technical Manager to join their senior team and help assist in the production of residential developments across the Northern Home Counties. To be considered for this incredible opportunity you must come for a house building background having previously worked for established developers and be able to carry out the following duties: Check all drawings to ensure proposals / details are practical and economic and where necessary improvements which will result in cost / time reductions. Have full knowledge and be fully up to date with all building regulations and the latest changes Ensure Consultants are appointed in sufficient time to meet the agreed programme following sign off from senior staff. Ensure clearance of Building Regulations and other relevant conditions. Prepare and update specifications in association with the Sales and Commercial departments. Ensure the effective co-ordination of planning, Design Freeze and working drawings ensuring that discrepancies are reported and agreed. Organise the approval of specialist drawings through consultants as necessary. Resolve design and building problems contacting relevant personnel and consultants as appropriate. Liaise and be present with the on site teams making sure all design and technical elements are being carried out. Liaise with Land, Planning, Building and Sales Departments. Approve consultants claim for payment in conjunction with Technical Director. Prepare and submit information pursuant to planning conditions. Dutes and responsibilities: Support the Site Manager in delivering safe, high-quality, on-time construction projects Lead day-to-day site activity including health & safety and making sure quality standards are maintained Coordinate sub-contractors and ensure programmes, plans and regulations are adhered to and achieved Maintain a clean, well-presented site that is expected of the company s projects Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and external partners Experience & Qualifications You will have ideally worked for another established developer in a similar role SSSTS or SMSTS First Aid

They are now seeking a Site Manager for a new residential development they have in Brighton which when finished will consist of over 50 apartments. Working alongside a Project Manager, the successful candidate will focus on managing all trades and ongoing works as the project progresses. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in daily operations and coordination. Monitor subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures. Assist with quality inspections, snagging, and handover documentation. Liaise with project stakeholders and provide progress updates. Requirements Previous experience as a Site Manager (or similar role). Strong understanding of brickwork and internals RC Frame experience preferred but not essential SMSTS or SSSTS certification. Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Assistant Site Manager - 7 month contract Assistant Site Manager wanted for this very well established leading high specification low volume developer who build some of the finest family homes in the South East. With a real emphasis on producing homes of distinction and the best quality they are now seeking an Assistant Site Manager to help with a development of new 3/4 and 5 bedroom homes in Bishop Stortford. As the Assistant on site your duties will include but not limited to Support the Site Manager with the day to day running of the development and provide clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets. Assist with management and implementation of health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers and ensure that that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered too. Motivate, support and manage directly employed site staff, providing toolbox talks, training, coaching, and support as required to improve performance. Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times. Support the Site Manager to deliver all aspects of production requirements in strict accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided and any subsequent instructions that may be necessary from time to time. Fully conform to building regulations and warranty providers requirements (NHBC, LABC Services). Assist the Site Manager with producing accurate production/progress returns and ensure that they are updated and sent to the Construction Director as requested. Prospective candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a track record in the same role previously having worked for other well established developers and be available to start work this within the next 4 weeks for a contract that will run for a minimum of 7 months.
