The primary responsibility of the Yard Person is to be responsible for the safe efficient and smooth running of the yard operation. Yardperson duties and responsibilities: Ensuring the yard and warehouse is always swept and clean Wash area is regularly pressure cleaned and free from mud deposits Helping load and unload vehicles for both colleagues, customers, and suppliers Support of trade counter staff in ferrying on and off hires to and from workshop and yard Safe storage of spares, Hire and Sales Stock Health & Safety Must be fit and active as you will be loading and unloading machinery from the van To perform a walk around every evening ensuring all keys are removed from plant and any small items of equipment are removed from the yard and secured inside the depot Other Duties Non Mechanical service inspections of Ladders, Steps, staging s, Tower Components, Accrows, Bandstands, Chapter 8 Barriers, Site Fencing, Block Grabs, Plant Attachments etc. Requirements: Ideally possess Counterbalance forklift license Knowledge of tool and plant is an advantage Friendly and professional manner Ability to take instruction from senior staff and lead by example High standards of Customer Service Benefits 32 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays) Pension - auto enrolment Group Life Insurance Sales and loyalty bonus scheme Perk Box Birthday gift 5 day weeks, working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00am to 17:00pm

The Hire Controller role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success as the business continues an exciting growth plan. This is a pivotal role working on the trade counter serving customers face to face as well as handling enquiries over the phone. You will be answering incoming calls from customers to make sales including upsell and cross sell, answering enquiries and questions, handle complaints and provide product information as required. A background in the hire sector would be advantageous although not necessary, experience within a sales development environment role is essential. The main purpose of this role will be driving one of our 32T beaver-tail lorries, delivering plant equipment to our customers and construction sites. You will ensure safe transportation of goods to and from various destinations efficiently whilst adhering to all legal requirements of Road Safety. Knowledge, skills and experience required for our Class 2 Driver: Must hold a current CAT C license or above Driver qualification card required (DCPC) A valid Digital Tachograph Card Should have good geographical knowledge of the home counties area Good understanding of tachograph legalisation Must be fit and active as you will be loading and unloading machinery from the vehicle. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to work who can work well as part of a small team and ensure our customers receive the best service. The Key Account Manager role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success as the business continues an exciting growth plan. This is a pivotal role within each of our local markets and provides opportunity for Account Development and new opportunities as we look to further strengthen our market presence. This role is to support the engagement and development of customer accounts within the defined customer portfolio and as part of the portfolio development activity. A background in the hire sector would be advantageous although not necessary, experience within a sales account development role is essential.
