Key Responsibilities: Produce detailed, accurate estimates from architectural drawings and shop fitting specifications Price comprehensive joinery and shop fitting projects, including: bespoke millwork, retail fixtures, commercial cabinetry, and installation packages Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure estimates reflect project scope, production requirements, and installation programmes Attend and contribute to client meetings, providing commercial expertise and technical joinery knowledge Analyse material, labour, workshop time, and installation requirements to support competitive pricing and maintain profitability Maintain and update cost databases specific to joinery materials, hardware, and specialist installation techniques Prepare comprehensive handover documentation to Project Directors upon contract award What We're Looking For: Strong background in estimating within the joinery or shop fitting industry Proven experience understanding detailed working drawings from architects and designers Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing workshop construction and installation processes Excellent ability to read and interpret joinery specifications, hardware schedules, and technical drawings Confident, articulate communicator with experience in client-facing environments Target-driven approach with strong organisational skills for managing multiple concurrent estimates Essential Requirements: Experience within Estimating or similar commercial environment within the joinery/shop fitting industry Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and estimating software packages Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively while using own initiative Salary & Benefits: Salary: 65,000 per annum 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Company Pension Scheme Death in Service cover Simply Health Cash Plan Professional development opportunities Clear progression pathway to senior estimating roles Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm 42.5 hours weekly 1 Hour Lunch Break
