Installation Electrician Location: North London Rate: 200 - 275 per day CIS Hours: 8-hour working days Contract: Ongoing contract Start Date: Immediate Nexus Careers is recruiting experienced Installation Electricians for an ongoing project in North London. The work will primarily involve LED lighting installations, lighting upgrades and straightforward electrical installation duties. This is an immediate-start opportunity offering consistent work and an 8-hour working day. Key Responsibilities Install and replace LED lighting systems. Complete lighting upgrades and remedial works. Carry out basic electrical installations. Install containment, cabling and electrical accessories. Complete wiring, terminations and connections. Identify and report electrical defects. Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standard. Work independently and as part of the site team. Follow site procedures, RAMS and health and safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organised working area. Candidate Requirements Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical certifications. Valid ECS or CSCS card. Previous electrical installation experience. Experience with LED lighting installations or upgrades. Own tools and appropriate PPE. Construction Manager - Data Centres Location: Spring Park, Corsham Salary: 70,000- 80,000 Job Type: Permanent The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of major data centre construction projects from pre-construction through to handover. Working closely with project teams, consultants, contractors and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder management skills and previous experience delivering large-scale construction projects within a technically complex environment. Experience within data centres is highly desirable, although candidates from mission critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or major commercial construction will also be considered. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for coordinating all construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring contractors and consultants deliver against programme, quality and contractucal requirements. Working alongside the Design and Project Management teams, you will monitor project progress, manage risks and support the delivery of projects through the RIBA design and construction stages. You will act as the main point of contract for construction-related matters, coordinating client visits, leading project meetings and maintaining effective communication between contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders. You will also oversee project documentation, monitor changes, review technical information, support procurement activities and ensure all planning conditions, statutory requirements and contractual obligations are achieved. A key part of the role will be managing the construction-to-handover process, ensuring all commissioning records, technical documentation and handover information are completed accurately and issued on time. About You We're looking for a Construction Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects from inception through to completion. You should have experience managing principal contractors, consultants and multidiscplinary project teams while maintaining programme, cost, quality and health & safety performance. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, quality assurance, risk management and project reporting is essential. Experience working within live or mission-critical environments such as data centres, pharmaceuticals or large commercial developments would be highly advantageous. Qualifications & Experience A degree, HNC or HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience within construction or project management. A good understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work and construction project delivery. Experience managing complex building services and M&E installations. Knowledge of CDM regulations, construction health & safety requirements and quality management processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between project locations.
