We are looking to secure a Project Manager experienced in electrical installation up to 11kV. Taking ownership of the successful delivery of multiple high-voltage and multi-utility projects, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Providing leadership from project commencement through to completion, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and clients to achieve outstanding project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the planning, execution and successful delivery of assigned projects. Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Develop and maintain project programmes, monitoring progress and implementing recovery plans where required. Lead site-based management teams, providing direction, coaching and performance management. Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, statutory authorities and supply chain partners. Manage project risks, identifying potential issues early and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractor resources to meet programme requirements. Monitor project costs, forecasts and budgets, ensuring commercial objectives and profitability are achieved. Review contractual obligations and ensure project delivery aligns with client and business expectations. Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to specification. Provide regular project reporting to senior management, highlighting progress, risks and financial performance. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence across the project team. You will have Proven experience managing HV electrical or multi-utility infrastructure projects. Previous responsibility for projects involving electrical networks up to 11kV. A recognised qualification such as HNC, HND, Degree or NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or construction discipline. Strong understanding of project planning, commercial management and contract delivery. Experience overseeing multiple stakeholders, including clients, designers, subcontractors and operational teams. We have exclusively partnered with a Principal Contractor to large multinational Data centre owners such as Google, Microsoft, Vantage and Amazon to provide the design, build and energisation of new connections up-to 132kv in and around the M25. They are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of industry recognised flagship projects. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you will assist in the design, planning, coordination and delivery of substations and cable infrastructure up to 132kV. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in utilities, power distribution or civil engineering who is looking to develop into a Project Manager within the high-voltage infrastructure. You will support projects from initial design and pre-construction through procurement, construction, commissioning and client handover, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. What you'll be doing: Assist with project planning, programming and monitoring against key milestones. Coordinate design activities between clients, consultants, ICPs, DNOs and internal design teams. Support the management of multidisciplinary project teams, including civil, electrical and cable installation contractors. Assist with procurement of subcontractors, materials and specialist suppliers. Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance alongside commercial teams. Help prepare project documentation including programmes, RAMS, ITPs, quality documentation and commissioning plans. Attend design reviews, client meetings and progress meetings, producing minutes and tracking actions. Coordinate utility interfaces, outages, permits and third-party stakeholders. Monitor construction progress and support resolution of technical and programme issues. Ensure projects comply with CDM Regulations, health & safety legislation and procedures. Assist with risk management, identifying issues and implementing mitigation plans. Support testing, commissioning and energisation activities. Role Overview We have exclusively partnered with a Principal Contractor to large multinational Data centre owners such as Google, Microsoft, Vantage and Amazon to provide the design, build and energisation of new connections up-to 132kv across the UK. They are looking for a Site Supervisor to support projects outside of the M25, that will oversee the early stage works necessary to deliver their major power and civils projects, encompassing complex utility infrastructure and cable installation works. This position will focus on pre-construction. You'll be involved in planning works, coordinating site investigations, managing early-stage site activities and ensuring projects are ready for safe and efficient delivery. Coordinating and overseeing all site-based activities required before construction begins, ensuring projects are fully planned, investigated and prepared for delivery. Key Responsibilities Planning and supervising early site access activities to ensure construction readiness Managing site inspections to identify access constraints, existing services, environmental considerations and construction risks. Obtaining permits, consents and approvals required before construction can begin. Coordinating utility searches, CAT & Genny surveys and verification of existing assets. Liaising with local authorities, statutory undertakers, landowners and other stakeholders to support project delivery. Ensuring plant, equipment and specialist subcontractors are coordinated for investigation and enabling works. Supporting buildability reviews and identifying opportunities to improve construction methodology. Ensuring all pre-construction SHEQ documentation, RAMS, risk assessments and environmental controls are completed to company standards. Conducting site safety inspections, inductions and pre-start briefings. Recording site information, survey findings and project updates using company systems. Supporting project teams throughout the pre-construction phase and ensuring a smooth handover into the construction stage. You will have A strong civils background within utility infrastructure, with previous experience as a Site Supervisor, General Foreman or Site Manager. Experience delivering projects within one or more of the following sectors: High Voltage (HV) Electrical Infrastructure Gas Networks Water Infrastructure Good understanding of pre-construction activities including site investigations, utility surveys, enabling works and construction planning. Knowledge of CDM regulations, temporary works and utility safety standards. CSCS and/or EUSR card appropriate to the role. SSSTS or SMSTS. Strong understanding of safe digging practices (HSG47). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. A proactive approach to problem solving, planning and continuous improvement. Full UK driving licence.
