This is a key role responsible for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role would suit a candidate with a strong background in roofing and external works. Works will consist of roofing and working as a contracts manager on my clients new build/subcontract roofing division. Office/Site Based Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously Take full responsibility for programme delivery, cost control, and quality Manage Site Managers and subcontractors across live sites Ensure projects comply with health & safety regulations and company standards Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams Monitor progress against programmes and resolve any issues efficiently Attend site meetings and client meetings as required Manage variations, subcontractor performance, and commercial reporting Ensure successful handover and close-out of projects Requirements Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the construction industry Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and site management Experience managing multiple projects across different locations Excellent organisational and leadership skills Strong client-facing and communication abilities Good understanding of health & safety legislation Full UK driving licence SMSTS / CSCS (preferred)

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee pitched roofing refurbishment works across a programme of approximately 150 occupied properties in Welwyn Garden City. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high quality standard while maintaining excellent resident relations. Key Responsibilities Supervise roofing operatives and subcontractors carrying out pitched roofing replacement and associated external works. Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and site logistics across occupied properties. Ensure all works are completed in line with programme deadlines and client expectations. Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure works comply with NHBC, manufacturer, and company standards. Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings. Maintain high health & safety standards in accordance with company procedures and current legislation. Liaise with residents professionally regarding access, progress updates, and any issues arising during works. Complete daily site records, progress reports, and photographic evidence. Monitor productivity and report progress to the Contracts Manager. Coordinate scaffold inspections and ensure safe working practices at height. Attend client and progress meetings as required.
