Our Civil Engineering client operates throughout the UK delivering integrated solutions for projects in Water, Utilities, Rail, Highway s and Energy. Their Civils division operates within the water industry delivering non-infrastructure civil packages for Tier1 main contractors. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for an Assistant Estimator to join their bid team. You will work on a flexible hybrid basis from their Cirencester office. Responsibilities: As Assistant Estimator you will assist in the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects. Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation. Liaise with engineering, procurement, commercial and operational teams throughout the tender process. Assist in developing tender strategies and compiling submission documentation. Support the Commercial Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and tender submissions. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations. Develop your understanding of infrastructure estimating, risk analysis and cost planning. Experience required: Proven experience as an Assistant Estimator within Civil Engineering or construction. Commercial awareness and understanding of construction costing. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Salary & Benefits £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. Hybrid working. Ongoing mentoring from experienced management team. Due to continued growth and expansion into new industries, they are looking to strengthen their leadership team with a Senior Project Manager. This critical role offers an exceptional opportunity to spearhead the end-to-end lifecycle of multi-million-pound industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, transitioning seamlessly from high-level conceptual design to impactful field deployment. As a Senior Project Manager, you will hold complete ownership over the execution and delivery of high-impact, capital engineering infrastructure ranging from c 1m to 3m. Key responsibilities The Senior Project Manager will have overall responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest standard. Control all aspects of programmes ensuring systems, policies and procedures are fully adhered to. Manage the full lifecycle of systems projects, including coordination, implementation, execution, intervention, financial control, and completion, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and goals. Develop, lead, and sustain the PMO function with a strong focus on Safety, Environmental, Quality, and technical compliance, on time delivery, and strict adherence to project tender cost allowances, departmental overheads, and Cost of Sales budgets. Work collaboratively with Sales, Manufacturing, and Service teams to deliver projects within tender cost allowances and contribution targets. Help Project Managers plan and programme projects to ensure timely completion to budget and to the required standards. Where present, identify additional and future business opportunities and help develop relationships with prospective clients. Key experience required Qualified to degree level, or equivalent in Engineering, in a relevant discipline field. Knowledge and familiar with industrial and municipal water industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Knowledge and familiar with the design, manufacture, assembly, and integration of water filtration and treatment plants. Previous Senior Project Manager experience in a similar role within a design & build environment. Package on offer Salary - 80,000 - 100,000 depending on experience. Car allowance. Pension.
