Role: Site Manager Company: Main Contractor Location : Maidstone, Kent Project: 150 unit scheme Start Date: ASAP Salary: 70k - 80k plus package A well-established, privately owned main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a main contractor background to be part of a team on a large 40m+ residential development near Maidstone, Kent. This is a long-term role (2+ years) offering genuine site ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver a flagship project outside of a PLC environment. Key Responsibilities Full day-to-day management on a large residential site Managing subcontractors and coordinating all trades Driving programme, quality, and health & safety performance Overseeing all construction phases through to completion Maintaining site paperwork including RAMS, permits, inspections, and daily records Producing accurate progress reports for senior management Managing quality control Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or mixed-use projects Main contractor background is essential Experience working on large-scale schemes Strong technical knowledge and a hands-on approach Excellent paperwork, reporting, and organisational skills Confident managing subcontractors and running a site autonomously Qualifications SMSTS CSCS (Black or Gold preferred) First Aid To apply please get in touch ASAP with Philippa on (phone number removed).
