If so we have the perfect role for you Alpha Recruitment are recruiting for General Site Operatives with CSCS Cards for temp - permanent positions with our prestigious client based in Sheffield, S6. Our client is a world class, multi-disciplined mechanical engineering solution provider, with core competencies in structural protection and movement control (e.g. bridges, expansion joints etc). This role is temporary to permanent where training is provided and offers fantastic career progression. Successful candidates can expect, over time, to be entered into full training programmes, e.g. Site Supervising / Site Management. The ideal candidate will have the following: CSCS card (essential) Own transport (essential) Experience on site and assisted other trades people and experience using power tools (essential) An engineering / civils / mechanical / formwork background (desirable) Due to our client having multiple contracts across the UK, candidates must be able to work away on a regular basis - Accommodation and expenses will be paid for. When working away, 10 hours are guaranteed and all overtime is paid accordingly after 40 hours midweek and weekends. Rates of pay are as follows: Basic: 13 per hour (up to 40 hours midweek) Overtime 1: 19.50 per hour (after 40 hours midweek and first 5 hours on a Saturday) Overtime 2: 26 per hour (minimum 5 hours on a Saturday, all hours worked on a Sunday and bank holidays) Working away: Accommodation paid for by the client and 25 per day for expenses.
