Experience in working within the Construction sector is essential for this role Job Summary We are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Construction & Facilities Coordinator to join our office-based team in Rotherham. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication and coordination skills, with responsibility for scheduling contractors, organising site logistics, liaising with clients, and supporting the delivery of construction and facilities management projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the construction and facilities management sector, along with established relationships with contractors and a strong understanding of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate jobs, ensuring contractors are allocated efficiently to meet client requirements. Organise the delivery of plant, equipment, and materials to construction and facilities management sites. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure works are delivered on time and to the required standard. Maintain regular communication with contractors regarding availability, progress, and site requirements. Proactively follow up new work opportunities and assist in maintaining a consistent pipeline of projects. Coordinate day-to-day office operations relating to project delivery. Manage project schedules, diaries, and administrative records. Prepare and maintain accurate job information and documentation. Respond to client enquiries and provide updates on project progress. Support the wider team with general administration and coordination duties. Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, suppliers, and clients. Skills & Experience We are looking for: Previous experience within the construction and/or facilities management sector. Experience scheduling contractors or coordinating works. Competent using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with contractors and clients.
