The Company On-going success means my client requires a Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services). Reporting directly to the senior Chartered Engineering manager, you will be joining a team of Building Services and CAD engineers. The Role: A Mechanical Design Engineer with demonstrable knowledge of reviewing drawings, surveying existing installations and designing HVAC systems. Most of the work is Mechanical design engineering to projects providing HVAC mechanical services solutions. You will see the project through from concept to hand-over, working closely with estimating and project management departments. Duties will include: involvement in the design of HVAC systems to enable both new and existing systems creating new ventilation ductwork systems, CHW & LTHW systems etc, Head Load, Cooling Load calculations, onsite visits, meetings and communicating with various clients, architects and sub-contractors etc Coordination with electrical counterparts take the Mechanical HVAC engineering lead for a number of projects as your technical knowledge improves Ideally, you will have some revit experience but this is not imperative carry out value engineering The skills: A demonstrable knowledge of Mechanical Building Services design obtained with either a Mechanical HVAC contractor or Building Services consultancy environment Mechanical Engineering qualifications from HNC level related to Building Services Excellent communication skills Able to work under pressure, to short time scales

3 - 6 month contract Revit MEP Coordinator A great opportunity has become available for a Revit MEP Coordinator Our client is an award winning design consultancy, who specialise in building services and work on a diverse range of projects. Due to continued increase in their workload, they are currently looking for an experienced Revit MEP Coordinator for a 3 - 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a number of projects, contributing to the production of all MEP Building Information Modelling deliverables. Role Purpose To support the BIM Manager, Model Manager and Project lead in the modelling of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services within a Revit environment. Assisting engineers with the coordination of MEP elements and aiding the production of 2D/3D project deliverables within Revit. Right through from preliminary stage to contract issue. Key Deliverables • Candidate must be able to produce clear, complete and consistent drawings from Revit. • Be able to model and coordinate MEP services within Revit. • Contribute to the development and implementation of the BIM processes and procedures • Minor Family modification. • Hold model reviews Key Responsibilities Working directly with the engineers and the BIM/Model manager, the candidate must be able to manage and prioritize their own workload. Person Specification Ideally the candidate will have practical working experience as a Revit Technician/Coordinator in a Building Services environment and be fully immersed in the world of BIM. With a keen eye for attention to detail, be well organized, methodical, pro-active & self-motivated. Preferably have experience of scheduling from Revit as well as experience inputting design data into Revit. Knowledge of BIM protocols and BEPs would also be a plus. Desired Past experience in delivery of building projects. Proven experience working in a BIM environment. Experience of working with BIM software, including the following software packages: Autodesk Revit Autodesk Navisworks Autodesk AutoCAD Other relevant 3D/BIM package experience will be considered Excellent communication skills for team working and for communications with design team. Ability to present and explain thinking and design decisions in internal meetings. Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines. Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. High motivation and willingness to take on new challenges. Ability to think laterally and creatively to help inform future strategies in the BIM environment.

Associate Electrical Design Engineer Fully Remote Working. This role is to join a highly successful firm of consulting engineers, specialising in mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) engineering, you will be working on high-profile projects with leading architects, designers and contractors delivering quality services with minimum environmental impact. This role has a strong team feel where you will be working alongside committed and enthusiastic engineers, and this is reflected in their working practices and supportive culture. You will either be a principal electrical design engineer or an engineer already at associate level, within this role you will cover design and supervision of projects from inception to completion and be responsible for the supervision and organisation of other members of staff. You will also represent the company at meetings in connection with projects and liaise with clients and other professionals. Responsibilities include Working as part of a design team delivering detailed design Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams Preparing technical specifications and schedules and design development reports. Develop and produce reports, specifications, guidance notes and general correspondence ensuring quality and technical quality standards are met Reviewing and commenting on information provided by the client, contractors and other members of the professional team. Attending design team meetings, client meetings, pre-contract and post-contract meetings. Carry out site surveys for projects, to obtain all relevant information required for carrying out scheme design. Attend site progress meetings as and when required, together with monitoring Contractor s Associate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer Skills/ Experience Required Ideally, but not essential, degree qualified, either building services or electrical. Experience of managing or mentoring a team of electrical design engineers within a building services consultancy. Completed a number of projects from inception to competition as a Principal or Associate electrical design engineer.
