Your main responsibilities will include: Preparing Programmes for contracts. Understanding Contract changes and Issuing Early Warning Notices. Issuing Compensation Event Notices and dealing with Compensation Events. Assisting with Pricing and Agreeing Compensation Event values. Creating and managing applications for payment including Bills of Quantities. Assisting procurement and sourcing of construction materials. Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project. Assisting with reviewing Contract costs against Application values/payments monthly for MD report. Assisting with Programme for future workloads/values for MD. Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications: HNC/HND or Degree essential. CSCS Card is preferred. A full driving licence is essential due to regional travel across the UK. Experience of using AutoCAD and Revit is preferable, but not essential. Experience of using Microsoft Office Applications, including Microsoft Project is preferable. We have an opportunity for an Estimator with main contractor experience, pricing for different trades to join our team. Responsibilities of a Estimator include (but are not limited to) Careful review of tender information provided to understand the full scope of works required Issuing sub-tender packages with the correct package specific drawings, specification, and scope documents. Preparation of tender deliverable documents which will include liaising with other departments, contracts, design and technical Undertake post tender negotiations where required Additional responsibilities include site visits with clients and sub-contractors, obtaining and reviewing sub-contractor quotations, responding quickly to post-tender queries, and handing over secured projects to the delivery team. Communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and towards deadlines are essential. You should be able to work on multiple projects and be comfortable providing support where required.
