AWC Staff Services are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their clients Fire Protection team, in an established, accredited business. You will be delivering passive fire protection and fire door installation, remediation, and maintenance across the UK. Our client is growing and looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding team. You'll play a key part in helping deliver excellence to clients by managing project costs, supporting commercial decisions, and maintaining strong financial control from tender through to completion. What you'll be doing: Preparing and reviewing tender documentation, cost plans, and valuations Managing applications for payment, variations, and final accounts Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management Supporting contract negotiations and maintaining strong client relationships Ensuring compliance with company processes and third-party accreditations (FIRAS, ASFP, etc.) Collaborating closely with Operations and Finance to track project performance What we're looking for: Experience within fire protection, construction, or building services (fire doors or fire stopping experience would be an advantage) A strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and cost management Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and reports Strong communication and organisation skills Someone proactive, professional, and ready to grow within a supportive team

AWC Construction Services are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Administrator to support the efficient operation of our facilities management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance requests, managing documentation, liaising with contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for all facilities-related queries and issues. Coordinate maintenance and repair work by liaising with service providers and contractors. Maintain records of building inspections, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation. Assist in managing supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoicing for facility-related services. Ensure health and safety policies are up to date and adhered to within the facility. Assist with emergency preparedness and response plans. Process work orders and track the status of facility-related tasks. Provide administrative support to the facilities management team as needed. Requirements: Previous experience in facilities administration, office management, or a related role. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and facilities management software (desirable). Willing to work on call 5pm-9pm, as part of a rota Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of health and safety regulations (preferred). You'll collaborate with Bid Managers, Project Development Managers, Pre Contract Construction Managers, design teams, and the commercial team. This role is a hybrid position, 2-3 days per week at the office (Annesley, Nottinghamshire).
