The successful candidate will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer As part of the role: You will operate as a field service engineer and you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers in the Sheffield and Doncaster Areas. Duties will include; Service, repair / test fire extinguishers Replace failed and faulty devices. Replacing extinguishers and ancillary products, emergency signage etc. Must hold a UK Driving licence Max 6 points. Our client are a successful security company who specialise in security/access control systems to some of the largest utility companies across the UK as part of the national grid technology framework. Role responsibilities - Perform all work specified in job orders and/or instructions given by the project manager/project engineer. 1st fix on containment and cable installation Conduct inspections of all electrical components, systems, wiring and equipment used in the construction of building and other structures. Inspect all electrical wiring to ensure that it is in good condition. Install electrical equipment, fixtures, wiring diagrams, and any other necessary components and accessories. Ensure work is performed according to company policy and procedures and in compliance with regulations. Carry out electrical testing and fault finding on industrial and commercial installations. Our client is a major provider of Cyber Security service to the National Grid, due to new contract awards they are looking to recruit a talented Security Engineers. Security Engineers will work Nationwide on National Grid Gas sites. Role responsibilities - Fault diagnosis on electrical fence, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems. Installation of bespoke security alarms. Planned preventive maintenances on bespoke security systems. Detecting and reporting defects, snags and complaints. Responsibility for van stock/replenishment and stock taking. Competency in problem solving and an ability to make diligent recommendations. Demonstration to clients and end users of completed systems or individual work. Arranging PAT and meter calibrations for company issued equipment. Completion of asset tagging and registration of information.
