An excellent opportunity exists for a Quantity Surveyor to join a Building Contractor based in Co. Antrim. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be involved on a range of projects to include Education, Commercial & Hospitality projects to the value of 25M. The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 3-4 years' experience, ideally within the Building sector. Experience on schools, healthcare, commercial or projects is preferable but not essential. Other essential criteria: Sound working knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of Conditions of Contract Significant knowledge of construction techniques Ability to apply the knowledge and principles of commercial management to construction projects Ability to implement procedures to quantify and cost construction works, including the use of appropriate standard methods of measurement Proficiency in administration, writing, numeracy, IT and MS Office Effective negotiation skills with both internal and external On offer is a generous salary package tailored to your experience plus: Excellent working environment NI Based Full-time Growing Contractor Opportunity to develop For more information or to discuss in confidence, please contact Michelle Doran at CSR on (phone number removed).
