UK Labour Supply are currently looking for 2x Precast Steel Fixer's for ongoing work in Braintree. You will be ensuring reinforcement steel is accurately prepared for casting. No direct precast experience needed. However you must have very good experience for steel fixing in general. Key Responsibilities: Cut, bend, tie, and weld reinforcement steel to required specifications. Assemble steel cages by tying or welding pre-formed steelwork. Follow detailed CAD drawings and bending schedules to ensure accuracy. Demonstrate a proactive approach to health and safety. Double-check all work before casting to prevent errors. Complete equipment husbandry checks on the shopfloor. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with team leaders to ensure timely orders. Actively participate in 5S (6S) and other projects aimed at continuous improvement and sustainability. Maintain a clean and organized workspace ("clean as you go" culture). Contribute to layout improvements to enhance efficiency. Ongoing work with 45-50 hour weeks. Immediate start for two fixers. Please call Jack on the details provided.
