Central London 65K 75K + package Main contractor in Central London Senior Quantity Surveyor responsibilities: Reporting to a Managing Surveyor and will be supported by a Junior Quantity Surveyor Take day-to-day commercial ownership of the project from procurement through to final account. Prepare subcontract enquiry packages, tender comparisons and buying analyses; procure and negotiate subcontract packages. Prepare and agree subcontract orders and manage applications, payments, variations and final accounts. Prepare and submit monthly client applications / valuations and manage client variations and change control. Attend and contribute to client, consultant and commercial meetings; maintain a strong relationship with the client QS. Maintain project CVRs, forecasts, cost-to-complete information, cash flow, WIP and commercial records. Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities, including contractual notices, EOT and loss and expense where required. The Work Involves Installing fire stopping systems around service penetrations through walls and floors. Sealing openings around pipes, cables, conduits and other building services. Installing fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps, batt systems and other specified fire protection products. Completing linear joint sealing and compartmentation works where required. Identifying gaps and breaches in fire-rated walls, floors and compartment lines. Working from construction drawings, fire stopping details and manufacturer specifications.
