The company is a construction and civil engineering main contractor who work on new build construction and infrastructure projects between 5 and 30 million in value. They have offices across the North or England, and they work on projects predominantly in Yorkshire, the Northeast and Lincolnshire. Role Responsibility: Reporting directly to the Head of SHEQ the SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for: Proactively promoting SHEQ best practice across projects, identifying practical and deliverable measures to continually improve the overall performance Working with operational management/supervisory teams across the business in the implementation of SHEQ standards and procedures necessary to ensure compliance with current applicable legislation and client requirements. Providing professional occupational health and safety advice and guidance to project management, supervisors, workforce and contractors Being in conjunction with management to assist with formal accident, incident and close call investigations Undertaking site safety tours and inspections on behalf of the business Supporting operations, undertaking safety stand-downs and focused briefings within your area of responsibility Providing projects with Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental direction to ensure the business discharges its legal duty Candidate: We are looking for a candidate with previous SHEQ Advisor experience who possesses the following skills: To be self-motivated with a pro-active can-do attitude and approach Strong personal and organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and manage workload Requirements: Proven experience in a Construction/Infrastructure SHEQ Advisory role Recognised occupational Health and Safety with membership of IOSH. About the Role: We are seeking a talented and proactive In-House Architect/Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design skills, experience working within retail or commercial fit-out environments, and the ability to manage projects from concept through to completion. You will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and our internal construction teams to deliver high-quality, practical, and brand-aligned design solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop concept designs, feasibility studies, and detailed technical drawings for retail and commercial fit-out projects. Produce fully coordinated construction drawing packages, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details. Work closely with project managers to ensure designs are buildable, cost-effective, and delivered to programme. Liaise with clients to understand brand requirements and translate these into practical design solutions. Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations, planning requirements, CDM regulations, and relevant health & safety standards. Conduct site surveys, prepare as-built drawings, and support the site team throughout installation phases. Coordinate design information with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants (MEP, structural engineers, etc.). Participate in value-engineering processes while maintaining design integrity. Support tender documentation, including drawing packages and technical specifications. Skills & Experience Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Experience within a shopfitting, construction or commercial interiors environment is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with BIM workflows is an advantage. Knowledge of building regulations, planning processes, and construction methodologies. Strong detailing skills, particularly for joinery and bespoke retail fixtures. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, site-aware approach to design. Confidence producing clear, accurate, and concise technical documentation. Due to continued growth across the company, they are seeking an Estimator/Assistant Estimator to join their Pre-Construction Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction estimator or an up-and-coming Assistant to play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, developing tenders, and supporting the successful delivery of construction and civil engineering projects. You will be involved in every stage of the pre-construction process from initial enquiry to bid submission. Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates using first principles pricing. Tender Preparation: Develop tender programmes and coordinate submissions. Bills of Quantities: Take off measurements and extract details from drawings and specifications. Supply Chain Management: Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and designers. Requirements: Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in Construction or a related field. The Project Manager will be required to travel to projects but you will mainly be working from their Sheffield office.
