The Job This is a full-time, on-site and office-based role covering north London and south coast operations as a Senior project Manager. The role involves managing contracts for construction and civil engineering projects, overseeing daily project operations, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, supervising budgets and schedules, managing project teams, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to achieve project success. The Construction Contracts Manager will also ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration within construction or a related field. Strong client management experience Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee budgets, timelines, and teams effectively. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk management techniques. Proficiency in communication, stakeholder collaboration, and problem-solving. A good understanding of civil engineering contracting and drainage solutions is a strong advantage. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline are highly desirable. This role offers a competitive salary 70k-80k depending on experience, company car or car allowance, day off on your birthday, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and further company benefit to be confirmed at offer stage. Estimator Kent (hybrid role) Up to £50k Our client is a supplier of bespoke specialist furniture products for the healthcare market. Their purpose is to serve our customers with the highest quality furniture systems and services. We achieve this purpose through innovative systems and the spirt and integrity of our people. The Job You will be Estimating Preparing quotations on the estimating package, printed bills of quantities or on Excel. Research and source materials from suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions / products, liaising with production on special furniture, designing and or interpreting furniture layouts. Sending out enquiries for pricing for bought in items including extracting and collating the information from the tender documents. Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals. Track project costs and provide regular updates to management. Ideal Candidates Will Have/Be Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques Car drivers to enable client meetings all over the country Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, and specifications Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations CAD knowledge a definite advantage Comfortable with clients and great at managing client relationships Tech savvy and proficientat using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Proven experience as an Estimator or a similar role in the construction industry, manufacturing industry, domestic kitchen industry or a furniture related industry.
