Night Shift Technical Services Manager - Major Fit-Out Project - Canary Wharf Shift Rate: Competitive, DOE Start: January Duration: Long term We're recruiting a Night Shift Technical Services Manager to support a large commercial fit-out and infrastructure programme in Canary Wharf. Working across weekday and weekend night shifts, you'll be responsible for overseeing extensive M&E works and ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements. Our client is a small main contractor that undertake refurbishment projects within the following sectors; Heritage, Private, Healthcare, Education and Social Housing (maintenance). Their project value range from £100k - £6m. They are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. As the contracts manager you ll be managing between 2 4 projects are any given time covering the sectors and values specified. Our clients office is based near Bermondsey, however this role will be somewhat roaming covering projects across London typically South East. Typical day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to); Reporting into the Operations Director and overseeing a number of Project/Site Managers & Site Teams in general Responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects including programming Implementing H&S processes across sites and ensuring compliance Identifying risk and opportunity Identifying any issues and ensuring a suitable resolution is found; Working with the commercial team in managing budgets; Chairing progress meetings and various other team meetings; Progress reporting upstream to the senior team and client; Liaising with local authorities and clients Ensuring logistics plans are successfully implemented. Person Specification / Requirements Minimum of a couple years experience as Site Manager in fit-out projects. Proven experience in fit-out environments (commercial, museum, heritage or similar high-quality interiors). Strong track record of managing projects circa 500k- 1m (preferably).
