Mechanical Consultant Project Manager, Project Recovery. Our long-standing Large M&E Sub-contractor Client has recently been called in to recover and complete a large Mechanical and Pipework Installation Contract following the collapse of the incumbent contractor. The project is mixed use, primarily high-end residential with 100+ units. We are looking for a technically strong Mechanical Contracts Manager or Mechanical Projects Manager who can work with the wider team to understand and quantify the work that needs to be done, develop an understanding, cultivate an active site presence and take the project through to successful completion. Substantial support is in place to make the project a success and you will be backed up by the strong office, commercial and Engineering team. You will be the leading Mechanical Manager on site, liaising with the client but have cloose contact with a helpful board who appreciate what needs to be done. Solid and stable London focussed Mechanical Project Management Experience necessary on large scale Residential Projects. Must have an ability to look at issues pragmatically and find solutions. This is a unique project and circumstances, with a lot of goodwill from the team, client and suppliers, and the role would suit a positive minded trouble shooter who doesn't necessarily have to follow a script and can make a success of a challenging but rewarding and interesting project. We are looking for an Administrator to work within the Quantity Surveying department of a busy Construction company in Central London. Our client are looking for someone with some exposure, experience and understanding of Quantity Surveying or Estimating because they would like to recruit an administrator with the capability to develop a career within their Quantity Surveying Department and take on an increasing level of tasks as their experience develops. This is an excellent career-focussed position and has the potential to lead to a quantity surveyor role over a medium-to-longer term, but it is crucial that you have some experience related to Quantity Surveying or Estimating with a construction related company or contractor. You should have good administration skills and be comfortable with doing the mundane administration tasks, as well as more complex administration work. Office based Central London. Not Hybrid. This is Temp to Permanent Position. You will be travelling to different locations regularly within Greater London, and occasionally to projects in the home counties. We are looking for an Experienced, very Health and Safety aware, well presented client-facing Contracts Manager to establish and maintain control of small to medium sized refurbishment and upgrade projects on Pharmaceutical, NHS, Warehouse and Commercial Buildings. Typical projects are valued at between 50K to 200K and you will be overseeing 3 to 5 at the same time. You will be ensuring projects progress safely and liaise with the client. You will build relationships with appointed sub-contractors and ensure they progress work according to their remit with a particular eye on Health and Safety conformance and maintaining a positive relationship with tenants when buildings are in occupation. This role will suit a senior level generalist with excellent M&E knowledge with a stable career who understands refurb and upgrade projects including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, decoration and fitout, who can communicate well and multi-task.
