Role Overview Assist the Agent with day-to-day management of highways and civils works Manage subcontractors, site activities and short-term programming Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification Support cost control, change management and site reporting Maintain compliance with all HSEQ requirements Requirements Proven experience as a Sub Agent on highways / road infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, pavements and general civils Background working with Tier 1 or major contractors SMSTS, CSCS and relevant engineering qualificatios

We are working with a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor delivering projects nationwide, with the majority of current works located in London. They are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer / Setting Engineer on a permanent basis. This role would suit an engineer based in the Berkshire / Thames Valley region, comfortable working across multiple sites and supporting groundworks and civil engineering packages. Key Responsibilities Setting out for groundworks, drainage, kerbs, roads and associated civils works Producing and maintaining accurate levels, lines and dimensions Interpreting drawings, specifications and construction information Supporting site management with QA checks and as-built records Liaising with site teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate delivery Maintaining engineering and technical site records Requirements Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Engineer within groundworks or civil engineering Strong setting-out capability using total stations, GPS and levels Sound understanding of construction drawings and specifications CSCS card and full UK driving licence (essential) Willingness to travel to sites nationwide (primarily London) Relevant engineering qualification preferred but not essential

My client has just secured another 18 months worth of work and required an experienced individual to join and support an excellent team. This is a site-based role and would suit a Document Controller with proven experience working on major construction or civil engineering projects. The Role Full control and administration of project documentation Managing incoming and outgoing drawings, technical documents and correspondence Ensuring document control procedures are followed and maintained Supporting engineers, commercial and site teams with document queries Maintaining accurate records, registers and audit trails Liaising with design teams, subcontractors and the client Requirements Previous experience as a Document Controller on a construction site (essential) Experience working on infrastructure, highways or major civils projects preferred Confident using document management systems (e.g. Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, ProjectWise or similar) Strong IT skills, including MS Office Organised, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced site environment

My client, a leading national contractor are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a 16M steel frame industrial unit in Basingstoke. Contract durtion is 42 weeks You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, managing programme, cost, quality, and health & safety, while coordinating subcontractors and consultants. Key requirements: Proven experience delivering industrial or steel frame projects as a Project Manager Strong commercial and programme management skills Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractor performance Excellent communication and client-facing skills This is an excellent opportunity to lead high-value industrial projects from start to completion with a reputable contractor.

Senior / checking Engineer required for steel frame project in Newport, works will run until Decemeber 2026. Day today duties Check and approve temporary and permanent works designs Carry out independent design checks for steel frame and associated works Manage the temporary works process and implementation on site Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors Liaise with designers and attend technical coordination meetings Ensure site works comply with approved designs and standards The ideal candidate will have experience as a Senior Engineer on large industrial steel frame projects.
