We are looking for a main contractors' small works (£250k to £1.5m) Project Manager on the behalf of a highly successful Essex-based building contractor currently benefiting from an increase in contract awards from repeat, predominately, commercial and industrial-sector clients. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to take full responsibility for 2-4 projects all the way from working up a scope of works with the client through to delivery and handover. Projects are all at warehouse / factory / NHS facilities so are occupied and operational and works are varied; re-roofing, office fit outs and structural alterations so candidates will be expected to be versatile builders with a broad spectrum of project experience and must be adept within the operation of contemporary IT and reporting tools; Word, Excel and Document Management Systems.
