Banksman / Spotter Location: Newport, Wales Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Duration: Long-term project Pay Rate: 16.50 per hour We are seeking an experienced Banksman / Spotter to join a large-scale data centre construction project in Newport . This role is ideal for someone with strong site awareness, clear communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety. Key Responsibilities: Direct and guide plant and vehicle movements safely around site Maintain line-of-sight with operators to ensure safe working distances Monitor proximity to other trades, structures, and services Assist with lifting, reversing, and restricted-area operations Report potential hazards and maintain exclusion zones Support the site team in maintaining high safety standards Requirements: Previous experience as a Banksman, Spotter, or Traffic Marshal on construction or industrial sites Valid CSCS card (Banksman or Plant Marshal certification preferred) Fire Warden ticket - desirable Strong communication and situational awareness Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team environment Crewit Resourcing are acting as an Employment Agency and Business.
