Job Title: Assistant Property Manager Location: Clerkenwell, London Salary: Up to 35K dependant on experience Job Type: Full time, Permanent Qube Leasehold Property Management is a specialist property management company focused on delivering high-quality services to leasehold residential developments. Role Description: This is a full-time, in person Assistant Property Manager role based in our Clerkenwell office in London. The Assistant Property Manager will support the management of a lettings portfolio along with assisting the PM team, therefore some background experience of lettings and Block Management will be advantageous. You will be helping to ensure all properties are well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling resident and client enquiries, coordinating contractors and maintenance works, preparing documentation and reports, and assisting with service charge budgeting and invoicing. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, updating property management systems, supporting site inspections, and following up on actions and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with Property Managers and other team members to provide professional, timely service to residents and clients. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the management of a lettings portfolio. Assisting the Property Management team. Handling resident and client enquiries professionally. Coordinating contractors and maintenance works. Preparing documentation and reports. Assisting with service charge budgeting and invoicing. Maintaining accurate property records. Updating property management systems. Supporting site inspections. Following up on actions and compliance requirements. Helping to ensure all properties are well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations. Working closely with Property Managers and other team members to provide professional, timely service to residents and clients. Skills & Experience: Experience or strong interest in property management, both leasehold and lettings, real estate, or facilities management. Excellent communication, both written and oral, and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle resident and client queries professionally. Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accurate record-keeping. Confident working with office software and property management systems, including spreadsheets and databases. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with contractors and stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to managing maintenance issues and resident concerns. Understanding of, or willingness to learn, leasehold and letting management legislation, health and safety, and building compliance requirements. Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles; experience in block or leasehold management is an advantage. Relevant professional training or qualifications are desirable but not essential.
