I'm working with an independent construction consultancy specialising in the residential and affordable housing sectors, who are looking to recruit an experienced Clerk of Works with a strong M&E background. This is a field-based role covering a region between Birmingham & Bristol. Working across a portfolio of new build residential and affordable housing developments, you'll be responsible for carrying out site inspections, monitoring quality, identifying defects, and ensuring works are delivered in line with specifications, Building Regulations and industry standards. Requirements Experience as a Clerk of Works, Building Inspector, Site Manager, Quality Inspector or similar. Strong knowledge of residential construction. M&E inspection experience. Good understanding of Building Regulations and NHBC standards. Excellent reporting and communication skills. Full UK driving licence. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious MEP cost professional to be a to the Director and play a key role in delivering complex, high-value projects across sectors including Commercial, Healthcare & Residential. You will take ownership of client relationships, lead project delivery teams and help drive the continued growth of the MEP cost management division in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing Project Manager who enjoys fast-paced projects, stakeholder management and seeing schemes through from feasibility to completion. You ll work across multiple live retail sites, collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors to deliver high-quality projects in a dynamic environment. You ll support the Retail Project Management team on a broad range of projects and responsibilities including: Managing multiple active retail projects simultaneously Attending site visits, stakeholder meetings and progress reviews Coordinating consultants, suppliers and contractors Providing construction and feasibility advice to clients Reviewing designs and specifications Monitoring programme delivery and practical completion processes Building strong relationships with occupiers, developers and delivery teams Preparing reports and presenting updates to clients and stakeholders This role offers a mix of office, site and remote working, with regular travel required across project locations.
