We are working on behalf of a leading National M&E contractor who need a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis in Manchester. The role would see you covering projects across their Manchester office, including sectors such as Education, Leisure, MOJ and Commercial. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, yet growing National company, turning over close to 500m. They are looking to grow their commercial team with talented and ambitious additions who are looking for a long-term opportunity within the business for realistic progression. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the project commercial strategies and take ownership for your own subcontract packages, whilst demonstrating an understanding of the implementation of internal and external tender strategies. - Maximise project cashflow by effective commercial management. - Contribute to relevant project procurement strategies with particular focus on the issuing of tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders, whilst working with the Commercial Lead to agree main and subcontract final accounts. M&E experience is desired alongside pre-con experience and having ran your own MEP packages on previous projects, but is not a necessity as this role will offer training and support to those who may have alternative backgrounds. Our client is delivering high-quality MEP Services across various sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education and Residential. They are currently looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor at Project or Senior level who is confident managing projects from pre-construction through to final account. A leading HVAC & Mechanical company is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join the team in the North East & Cumbria area, on a full time, permanent basis. Having been established for over 20 years they are a forward-thinking business, with an excellent reputation. You will carry out commissioning, servicing, fault finding, installing and maintaining splits, multi splits, VRV and VRF air conditioning systems along with working on ASHP and cold rooms within the North East & Cumbria area. Responsibilities Fault finding on split, multi split & VRV / VRF air conditioning systems along with cold room applications. Servicing and maintenance of split, multi split & VRV / VRF air conditioning systems. Commissioning of split, multi split & VRV / VRF air conditioning systems. Service, commissioning and fault finding of Heat Recovery ventilation systems. Dealing with emergencies and unplanned breakdowns - inclusion in out of hours call rota. Requirements Time Served fully qualified refrigeration Air Conditioning engineer. Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience of Air Conditioning installations within commercial buildings. Relevant qualifications or equivalent to NVQ level 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Good written and verbal communication skills. Full UK driving licence.
