Plumbing & Heating Installer Salary between £28-£34k based on experience and qualifications Job Overview North East Heating Solutions is a fast growing yet still family owned and run electric heating and hot water installation company based near Wetherby and are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing & Heating Installer to carry out the removal, installation and commissioning of hot water systems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of our electrical engineering team. Key Responsibilities Removal of domestic heating and water systems including gas, oil and LPG Install, commission, and test hot water heaters Removal of cylinders, tanks, and associated pipework Work with our team of electricians to help install electric heating systems Ensure all installations comply with current regulations and safety standards Carry out pressure testing, and fault diagnostics Connect systems to water supply and electrical controls Identify and resolve faults efficiently and safely Provide excellent customer service and explain system operation to customers Maintain accurate records and pictures of work completed Warehouse managment - ensure the space is kept clean tidy Help with stock management Proven experience as a plumber or heating installer Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent) No requirement to be Gas Safe registered. Strong knowledge of domestic hot water and central heating systems Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence as role does include lots of travel as we work all over the East of England Must live with 30 mins of Wetherby. Work will be carried out in residential homes and commercial buildings May involve lifting, working in confined spaces, and working at height Salary between £28-£34k based on experience and qualifications Use of company vehicle Pension scheme Private health after 6 months Ongoing training and development opportunities Requirements Proven experience as a plumber or heating installer Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent) No requirement to be Gas Safe registered.
