ESTIMATOR Manchester Construction Permanent You're not looking for another spreadsheet-filler. You're looking to build a career in estimating. This is an opportunity for an ambitious Estimator / Junior Estimator to join a successful construction business in Manchester, working across a portfolio of high-profile projects and playing a genuine role in winning profitable work. You'll work closely with experienced estimators, learning how to build accurate costs, interrogate tenders, manage supply chain enquiries and identify the commercial risks and opportunities that can make or break a bid. WHAT YOU'LL NEED We're looking for someone who has already gained some exposure to estimating and wants to take the next step. You'll ideally have: 2+ years' experience as a Junior Estimator or in a relevant construction, engineering or commercial environment A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how construction projects are delivered Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines A genuine desire to learn, take feedback and improve The confidence to communicate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders WHY THIS ROLE?
