IMH Recruitment are currently looking for an Grounds Maintenance Operative to work on behalf of Sheffield City Council to undertake Environmental horticultural maintenance duties. Specific Duties and Responsibilities To be able to use equipment and horticultural machinery after suitable training To undertake hedge cutting and grass cutting, litter picking, rubbish removal and sweeping paths. To undertake general gardening / environmental maintenance duties. Must be able to complete manual labour duties for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Must be prepared to work from different locations/depots. Must be prepared to work flexibly and in all weathers. Must have clean, valid UK driving licence Hours & Pay: 37 Hours per week. Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm. (Hours to be fully confirmed at interview stage) 13.26 per hour

Responsibilities: Removal & Renewal of Kitchens Removal & Renewal of Bathrooms, Shower Rooms & Wet Rooms as part of a 2 man team with a plumber Internal Second fix joinery Internal first fix joinery Fencing Work - Timber or concrete, Fascia, Soffits and gutter work, Joinery repairs - including but not limited to floor boarding, door ease/renew, PVC repairs to windows and doors, kitchen unit repairs. Hours & Pay: Monday - Friday (Hours normally between 8am-4pm). 37 Hours Per Week. 15.85 (Increase after 13 week probation) Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 qualification in Joinery CSCS skilled worker card Must have a valid Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle. A works vehicle will be provided for successful candidates, how ever you may be required to make your own way to the depot initially.

For this role you will need to have a valid CSCS card and have previously worked with timber posts, concrete post and panel fencing. Key Responsibilities: Erect a variety of fences including timber post, concrete post, and panel fencing. Prepare and clear worksites efficiently and safely. Operate tools and equipment, including nail guns and hand tools. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Work across varied outdoor environments and weather conditions. About You: Experience with timber posts, concrete post and panel fencing. Experience on New Build Developments. Enthusiastic and hardworking Full Driving licence with no more than 3 points CSCS Card. Health and Safety aware Experience with Nail Guns and other hand tools Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday Lots of hours, 40-45 hours per week.
