We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join our residential construction team. Working on high-quality new-build housing developments, you will be responsible for ensuring homes are completed to the highest standards, ready for customer handover. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in residential housebuilding who takes pride in delivering quality homes and exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage all finishing works across a busy residential housing development. Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. Carry out quality inspections and snagging, ensuring defects are rectified promptly. Prepare plots for NHBC inspections and customer handovers. Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure build programmes are achieved. Maintain excellent health and safety standards on site. Ensure all plots are completed in line with company quality standards and programme requirements. Liaise with Customer Care and Sales teams where required to ensure smooth completions. Requirements Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman within residential housebuilding. Strong knowledge of internal and external finishing trades. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality. Ability to manage subcontractors and meet tight deadlines. SSSTS or SMSTS qualification. Valid CSCS Card. Residential Developer with a strong pipeline of housing schemes across Cambridgeshire, they are looking for an Assistant to join an on going project consists of Traditional build housing. As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on a busy housing site. You will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities Assist in the management of subcontractors and trades on site Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations Monitor progress against programme and report any delays Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks Support quality control procedures and carry out inspections Maintain accurate site records and documentation Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams Requirements Proven experience in a similar role on traditional build housing developments Strong understanding of NHBC standards and building regulations Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification CSCS Card (essential) First Aid at Work certification Good organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience working with volume housebuilders Knowledge of snagging and handover processes
