Sales Manager Location: St Ives / Hybrid & Field-Based (Minimal travel) Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 DOE Contract: Full Time / Permanent Are you an experienced Sales Manager with a strong commercial mindset and a background in events, industrial or construction services, or hire/rental solutions? We are seeking an Sales Manager to join our clients growing team. Reporting to the Business Development Director UK&E, you will play a key role in supporting revenue growth by identifying and developing rental opportunities, preparing detailed cost estimates, and working closely with internal teams to deliver winning commercial solutions. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based work in St Ives with occasional client visits and field-based activity. Duties for this role will include: Preparing accurate and competitive quotations, estimates, and cost breakdowns across a range of rental solutions and event service commodities. Supporting the sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities from incoming enquiries. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients throughout the enquiry, quotation, and project handover process. Reviewing client specifications and project requirements to ensure all estimates are commercially viable and operationally achievable. Providing professional commercial guidance to clients and supporting the creation of winning proposals. Producing detailed costing models, margin analysis, and quotation reports to support commercial decision-making. Monitoring supplier pricing, market trends, and competitor activity to maintain competitive and profitable pricing structures. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities prior to quotation submission and following internal approval processes. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, estimating, costing, or commercial roles, preferably within the Events industry and/or Industrial/Construction sectors. Proven track record of producing accurate commercial estimates and delivering profitable solutions. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs, margins, and profitability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport. Willingness to travel to client sites and undertake occasional overnight stays when required.

We are currently recruiting for a Civils & Groundworks Operative to join their team. This role involves carrying out a range of groundwork and civil engineering projects, including the installation of septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, drainage systems, and associated groundworks. You will be working across Bedfordshire and surrounding areas, with occasional travel required depending on business needs. Drainage Assistant Nights Gravesend and local areas Salary up to - £34,346 Depending on experience + overtime OTE £7,000 Hours : Full Time/Permanent/Mon-Fri (45 hours) - Generally, 6pm 4am but can change depending on location of works Have you worked within the drainage or construction industry for a year or so and wish to progress? Do you hold a full driver's license, and hope to become a fully qualified Drainage Engineer in time to come? We are looking for a Drainage Assistant to work alongside an experienced Drainage Engineer. Supporting lead engineer with producing site drainage plans, identifying defects, design issues, pipe conditions and missed connections within the system. Generally supporting drainage teams with clearance and blockage works should emergencies arise.
