We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is a specialist UK construction and maintenance contractor, delivering high-quality refurbishment and installation projects across live commercial sites. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Project Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. Responsibilities: Manage multiple refurbishments and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Plan, coordinate, and oversee refurbishment, fit-out, and installation projects, ensuring all works are programmed and resourced effectively. Manage and support Site Managers and site teams delivering high-quality carpentry, M&E, and general refurbishment works across multiple projects. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery and programme compliance. Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and project-specific risk assessments throughout all phases of the project. Monitor project progress, programme, costs, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues, delays, and risks. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate planning and execution of works. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee quality assurance, snagging, and project handover, ensuring all works are completed to the required standard and client satisfaction. Maintain accurate project documentation, including programmes, progress reports, variations, procurement schedules, cost tracking, and material procurement records. To be successful for this Project Manager role you must have: Minimum 2 3 years proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong trade background. Have previous experiecne managing commercial refrubishment projects. SMSTS or SSSTS certification. Valid CSCS Card. Asbestos Awareness certification. Temporary Works Coordinator certification (desireable) Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Hands-on and flexible approach to working on-site.
