Main Responsibilities Carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys as well as asbestos in the ground Air monitoring and airborne fibre counting Inspection of contractors remediation work, signing off removal works or rejecting unsatisfactory removals as part of the 4SC process Familiarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance e.g HSE and construction Experience of working within a UKAS accredited organisation and familiarity with documents such as Lab 30 and RG8 Maintaining your personal QHSE documentation and adhering to internal assurance processes. Providing a professional and courteous service to clients, answering any queries that they might have, as well as specialist advice and interpretation where necessary Communication with clients, management, the Technical Support team and fellow team members The Ideal Candidate BOHS P402, P403 and P404,equivalent RSPH qualifications or Certificate of Competence Working knowledge of both HSG:248 The Analysts Guide and HSG:264 The Survey Guide Full UK driving licence (manual) Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours working Strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small team

A leading water treatment company require experienced and devoted individuals to join its engineering team based in the Northeast. The role involves carrying out plumbing/remedial works, remedials based on data from legionella risk assessments, water hygiene tasks, tanks cleans, potential closed system works such as chemical flushing and water treatment works. Essential Qualities Punctual Good communicator Good practical and hands on skills Ability to travel and work flexible hours Qualifications and Education Requirements Plumbing related qualification or able to demonstrate extensive experience within the filed of plumbing or remedial works. A leading Building Compliance Company are looking for a number of experienced Service Technicians to undertake water hygiene and water treatment works for a range of clients, at sites across Surrey and London, including water sampling, TMV servicing, temperature monitoring, tank cleans, disinfections of domestic services, descaling of shower heads, and closed system testing. The Role All aspects of water hygiene and water treatment works for all types of water systems and water treatment equipment. Ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and Health and Safety standards, and codes of practice are always observed. Maintaining good levels of communication both with the operations team and the customer as necessary, so that progress on allocated jobs is always known, reporting any problems encountered to facilitate a quick resolution Production of reports Supervision and training of less experienced engineers and graduates Identifying opportunities for additional remedial works or new leads for the Company Maintaining knowledge of water hygiene practices and legislations, and water treatment products and equipment, and highlighting any training requirement. HTM04-01 knowledge and experience essential.
