We re supporting a civil engineering contractor delivering wastewater works in South Lanarkshire and looking to appoint a hands on Site Supervisor / Site Manager to support delivery on a live site. This is a dirty water role covering sewers, manholes, drainage, reinstatement and deep excavations . It will suit someone who is comfortable being on site day to day, running gangs and keeping works compliant rather than operating in an office based management role. The role Day to day supervision of wastewater works Managing site gangs and subcontractors Overseeing sewer, manhole and drainage installations Ensuring RAMS, permits and H&S compliance Liaising with visiting management and stakeholders Keeping sites productive, safe and well organised What we re looking for Background in wastewater / utilities / Scottish water-type frameworks Proven experience supervising dirty water works SSSTS or SMSTS Confident managing sites and crews independently Practical, delivery focused approach Additional information Long term, steady workload Central Belt based sites across multiple local authority areas Straightforward role with realistic expectations This role is not suited to senior project or office based management profiles . Peace Recruitment is working with a large fitout project near Leith in Edinburgh who need a Site Manager to start on Monday. This is a 4 month project, parking is on site, with competitive rates. Ideally with a joinery background, you will be managing the joiners and finishing trades as their main point of contact, checking quality of works, managing site safety etc. We are looking for someone comfortable spending time on the site with the trades and subbies to push the work forward with less time in the site office.

The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, coordinating all site activities and teams while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This role involves travel and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
