The opportunity As a Fire Door Surveyor , you'll play a critical role in protecting life safety across residential and commercial buildings - carrying out detailed fire door inspections, producing clear and compliant reports, and working closely with technical and delivery teams to drive real outcomes, not just paperwork. Fire Risk Assessor Location: North East England (Remote / Hybrid) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 DOE About the Opportunity The business was originally established in the North East of England in 2009 and has since grown into a national fire safety and fire engineering consultancy. The company supports a broad range of UK-based clients, advising on life and property risk across complex and varied property portfolios. The team is third-party accredited for Fire Risk Assessments and operates in an environment that places strong emphasis on technical quality, professional standards, and continuous professional development. Due to continued growth, the consultancy is now seeking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor into a remote-hybrid role , with the position based in the North East of England . This role is particularly well suited to a Fire Risk Assessor with 1-2 years' experience , or an early-career assessor looking for a clear development opportunity within a supportive, technically led consultancy.
