I person required in the Stoke On Trent area and the other in Chester. 16.00 PAYE / 20.00 CIS/Umbrella.

MEWP Operator / IPAF licence for Scissor lift and Cherry Picker required to help on site and also contribute towards Semi-skilled Site Fitting or Skilled Labouring.for client within the construction / steel erection industry. You must hold Scissor Lift / Cherry Picker / MEWP / PAL / IPAF licence to drive Scissor and Boom vehicles (3a and 3b) on client s site(s). You should be willing and able to carry out mechanical fitting / steel erection using hand and power tools to assemble components on the ground and also at heights. Duration This will be a permanent position but will be via a temp-to-perm transition. (Contract positions available too). Often working away from home, within a team, typically starting out from the client's central base near Stoke-on-Trent each Monday morning and returning on Friday afternoon. Hotel Accommodation and breakfast is provided and paid for (in advance) by the company. Role Reporting to the Site Manager / Installation Team Leader and working as part of the site team, you will be responsible for assisting with the erecting of structural steel work / steel framework including: drilling, fixing and working at heights. Applicant Qualifications must include CSCS card and IPAF 3a & 3b or similar Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness and Abrasive Wheels experience / qualifications would be useful too. You should be experienced in assembly of steel framework, rigging, erecting, steel fixing and competent at reading general arrangement drawings. Rates Rate = £19.00 CIS/UTR/Umbrella/Ltd or £17.00 PAYE per hour (incl. holiday pay) 8 hour days Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend overtime at slightly enhanced rate.

Skills required: HNC in Surveying or HND or Degree in surveying or construction related field, with strong post-qualification experience. Knowledge of damp and mould and able to work to Awaabs law principles Experience diagnosing property condition and scoping for remedial works. Understanding of building pathology and complex issues like subsidence. Experience managing contractors and ensuring health and safety compliance. Able to use systems to update records and able to write reports Compliance: Evidence of qualifications, need a Basic DBS, 3 years referencing, you will need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage. NVQ Level 3 electrical installation, Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations, electrical inspection and testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent. Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing and inspection within housing. Fault finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively. We require full RTW along with 3 years no gaps references and a Basic DBS 19.00 PAYE 25.00 CIS/Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have experience working to deadlines, prioritising workloads, and solving complex problems effectively. A solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation is essential. Recent experience in a similar role, particularly overseeing operatives within void repairs, planned, or reactive maintenance is required. Local Authority/Social Housing sector experience is required. Key responsibilities include supervising and overseeing multi-trades: directly employed operatives (DLOs) and subcontractors. You will ensure Health & Safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and lead toolbox talks. On-site, you will manage multi-trades, drive productivity, and oversee performance. Effective resource and workload planning, quality assurance through regular audits, and maintaining documented records are crucial. You will also be responsible for scoping void works and post-inspecting works to ensure they meet Lettable standards. You should be IT competent, have a clean, full UK driving license, and possess strong leadership skills with a solid understanding of multi-trade activities and health and safety standards. A City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3, or relevant experience in one or more trades is preferable. Temporary role until a permanent candidate found. £20.00 PAYE OR £22.00 CIS

My Client, a leading provider of Social Housing, Care Homes and Student accommodation, require a suitable qualified test and inspection Electrician for both planned and reactive maintenance of their properties. Working from Ipswich to cover North Essex. Van provided. Paying 24.00 per hour CIS working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Candidates must have 2391 test and inspection, City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience as an Electrician (Part P and 17th Edition preferred). Current PAT testing certificate and full uk manual driving license.
